City of Portofino: Starting the Day Trip

After being out of commission for a while, I finally mustered up enough energy to step out of the house. I knew I needed a change of scenery and a serious dose of fresh air. A day trip along the coast seemed like the perfect remedy to soothe my spirit and rejuvenate my system. So, I made a plan—first stop, filling up the jeep and grabbing some road snacks.

Luckily, I live just two streets down from the gas station, so I quickly stopped in, got everything set, and then texted my twin brother, Sparrow, to see if he’d be my co-pilot for the day. A coastal drive sounded like the perfect way to reset, and I couldn’t wait to hit the road.
